Purple Dragon

I present you my latest digital painting. For this concept I was inspired by Spyro, which I recreated in my own way and in adult version.
I wanted to integrate it in a desert setting with high and sharp rocks, under a sunset. It was a challenge for me to transcribe the colors of a sunset. For the pose of the dragon, I was looking for an original pose, this semi calm pose, ready to take off, seemed nice to integrate into a scenery with rocks.
For the scenery elements, my research was oriented towards canyon landscapes.
For the details, I did some photobashing.
